GutSignal is a consumer health tracking app for logging digestive symptoms, meals, stress, sleep, hydration, medication, notes, and possible triggers. GutSignal is designed to help users understand their own patterns and prepare clearer conversations with healthcare providers. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Information you enter in the app

GutSignal may store the information you choose to enter, including symptom severity, bloating, pain, stool changes, meal notes, trigger tags, stress level, sleep quality, hydration, medication, and free-text notes. This information is used inside the app to show history, trends, insights, and doctor-ready summaries.

Local-first storage

GutSignal is designed as a local-first app. Your health logs and notes are stored on your device unless a future version clearly asks for your permission to use an online service. We do not sell your health information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Purchases

GutSignal offers optional non-consumable in-app purchases through the Apple App Store. Apple processes purchases and may provide GutSignal with purchase entitlement information so premium features can be unlocked or restored. Payment information is handled by Apple, not by GutSignal.

Analytics and tracking

GutSignal does not use third-party advertising tracking. If analytics or diagnostics are added in a future version, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated before release.

Medical disclaimer

GutSignal provides personal tracking, trend summaries, and educational support only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with questions about a medical condition.

Data deletion

You can remove app data by deleting entries inside the app where available or by deleting the app from your device. Because GutSignal is local-first, deleting the app may remove locally stored data from the device.

Children

GutSignal is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
